Set in a grand old Glasgow townhouse, with vast circling staircase and antique gated elevator, the ABode Glasgow once housed the education headquarters from 1911. The board moved on to more modern premises from this B listed building for it to be converted into a stylish urban hotel in 1999. Set in a beautiful district of the city centre in the midst of the financial district, the main shopping thoroughfare is one block away, and nightlife is nearby for the more adventurous.
