The Arnos Manor Hotel was built in 1760 as the luxurious home of wealthy Bristol merchant William Reeve - This spacious Baroque-styled hotel was totally refurbished in 2002 and today offers an imposing ambiance and a wealth of original Georgian gothic decorative features including the twin turrets - the ornate twin staircase - the superbly decorative Chapel lounge - a fine place for a quiet afternoon or a pre-dinner drink - and the fine Stucco ceilings in the ground floor rooms. The hotel offers 73 bedrooms - all individually styled and decorated to a high standard in keeping with the Baroque style and listed status of the hotel. All rooms are offer ensuite facilities - many with a spa bath - and are well-appointed to ensure the comfort of guests. The Cloisters restaurant is uniquely situated in the glass-covered courtyard of the original buildings - it has been awarded a rosette and offers superb modern and contemporary cuisine as well as an extensive wine list covering all the traditional and new world wines. The Cloisters Bar offers a livelier atmosphere in comfortable surroundings.
