"This hotel is in the biggest eyesore on the Lyon city landscape, a priapic brown tin-hatted tower hard by the Gare Part Dieu. Inside, the hotel and its views are pretty spectacular, since the lobby is on the 32nd floor and every room has a glass wall on the periphery. Its really a luxury hotel at very competitive rates. It is surprisingly difficult to move between the hotel and station on foot -- one must walk through a detached indoor shopping mall with little signage (the sense is obvious but the trick is to change floors). The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from the most desirable commercial district but practically just down the street from one of the nicest restaurants, L'Alexandrin."

"We drove into Lyon and had difficulty finding how to access the hotel. Once we found the entrance the staff definitely went the extra mile to help us with everything from parking to a shuttle to the gare the next a.m. The restaurant and facilities inside the hotel were very nice."

"When coming by car, it's difficult to find the road that actually gets you to the hotel. You keep on circling for ages around this skyscraper, wondering how on earth can you get near it! I would suggest to put some signs on the roads nearby, indicating which turns to take to get to the hotel. Superb hotel, anyway!"
