Numerous guests praised the hotel's location, describing it as central, and close to public transit, the Picasso Museum, attractions, shopping, restaurants, the Gothic Quarter and the marina. One patron remarked, "The location of [the] hotel couldn't have been any better, a matter of minutes from a plaza full of restaurants of varying tastes. The metro was very close, making transportation easy. There were several ticket booths for excursions on La Rambla, making it easier to explore the area".
The hotel's staff were the source of many compliments by reviewers, who characterized them as efficient, informative, friendly and multilingual. One guest noted, "The service in the hotel was friendly and really helpful. They even printed our boarding passes with no quibbles".
