Hotel Claris
The Hotel Claris was built in 1992 keeping the fa?ade of the former Palacio Vedruna. All rooms are decorated with a mix of contemporary and classic styles, using the finest quality materials. To complement the decor, there are over 100 antique kilims, 17th and 18th century English and French furniture, and many sculptures from the 2nd to 7th centuries. Every room is fully equipped with air-conditioning, telephones, fax-modem connection, satellite TV, CD player, safe and mini bar. Other amenities include a sauna and small gymnasium, a rooftop swimming pool, a private museum of impressive Egyptian artefacts, meeting rooms, valet parking and 24-hour room service. There are three restaurants: the exclusive East 47 Bar & Restaurant for contemporary cuisine, the La Terraza del Claris Restaurant on the rooftop for lunch and dinner during the summer, and the Claris Restaurant for banquets and where breakfast is served every morning.
