Many guests enjoyed the hotel's location, and found it close to the beach, La Rambla, Placa de Catalunya, restaurants, bars, public transit, the Picasso Museum, the airport, shopping and Sagrada Familia. One reviewer noted, "I found the hotel to be in an ideal location; bang in the city, walking distance from the Barri Gothic Quarter, La Rambla and the beach, etc.".
The hotel's staff were the source of numerous compliments by lodgers, who characterized them as accommodating, efficient and bilingual. One guest remarked, "The reception staff are exemplary - cheerful, welcoming and absolutely nothing is too much trouble; not only do they respond to any request they actually offer assistance without request".
