"They are in the process of remodeling the entire hotel. The rooms that are completed are suprisingly nice. The rooms which are not (which they checked us into initially) are more like a hostel dorm room. Once the remodeling is done - it should be a nice hotel near the old town of Munich and near the main train station. Take the S-8 train from the airport to the central station and it is less than a block walk."
