"my room card didn't work, i got a new one, still didn't work, got another new one and finally it worked. it is a long way from room 120 to the reception. the sliding glass door leading to la residence didn't work. it'd be nice to know explicitly whether or not breakfast was included. i only had it the first morning, but went to pay later that same day and was asked whether i'd had breakfast, suggesting to me it wasn't included, so i didn't have it again and don't know whether i paid for it three times and only had it once or didn't pay for it at all and still had it once. the "fitness-raum" was nonsense, this is woefully inadequate and a reason for me to prefer to stay elsewhere (i come to basel regularly). a good fitness room is important to me. the computer with internet on the first floor proved very frustrating, after far less than 15 minutes the session is blocked. it is also extremely slow. for longer usage i have my laptop but it would have been nice to have a solution for when i wanted a computer for 5 minutes, and this wasn't it. i would have liked the room to have been cleaned before 12. when possible, i wanted to come back to the room after lunch and lie down for a little while, but was worried my room would then not be cleaned. the air conditioner was impossible to operate. i wasn't even sure it was an air conditioner and called the reception. i was told it was an air conditioner and should adjust the temperature according to the arrows. i couldn't find any arrows. my room was very hot the whole time. why were the curtains opened during the day? i left them closed and the room would have been cooler that way. i sweated every night. incidentally, i spent not one, but three nights here."
