"Yes, dont't attempt to stay there. I couldn't get checked by 4:15 pm, so I had to stay elsewehere. The housekeepping staff person wouldn't communicate with the desk personnel as to whether my room ( executive suite was ready) and when the desk staff was told it was ready (at 4:15 p.m.) I requested to see it first before checking in. Considering the room wasn't ready at 4:00 p.m., I found it suspect for it to be ready in 15 minitues. When I approached the room I saw the cleaning cart. Housekeepping staff was in the room "trying" to get it prepared, when in fact your desk staff was told it was ready and that I could check-in. That was the last straw after waiting for an hour or more. I had no choice but to cancel my reservations. This was how my three college aged children and I started our get-away weekend- without hotel accomodations! I went to a nearby Hampton Inn and checked-in without complication (without a previous reservation, mind you) and their staff and accomodations were absolutely fantastic. I've stayed at Springhill Suites before, but this location sucks and it was apparent that this was the normal way of doing busy or the lack thereof. I watched others experiece the same frustration in trying to check-in after the designated 3:00 pm hour. There needs to be some review of the operation of procedures and the like at this particular location. And upon looking at the room, which was an executive suite it lacked luster, seem dated and was grim. Perhaps, it all worked out for the best."
