"Hotel and rooms are nice at The Hotel, but quite small... the management does make up for it with professional and attentive staff and service. I found all aspects of the service to be dependable and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliably clean, professional and pleasant South Beach experience. I found the amenties to be present, but small (smallest "pool" I've ever seen, small lobby, small shaded area to lounge in). However, their fully-equipped gym with new equipment, free internet access in the (small) business centre (equipped with 2 computers and a printer) and beach access with complimentary chairs and umbrella, proved to be quite convenient. A four-star hotel with five-star service (both very rare at South Beach hotels, without spending a small ransom). Expect to pay between $175-$250 a night during during fair to busy seasons. (Unless you're travelling solo, avoid the "Designer" room which is barely large enough for its queen size bed.) While all of the hotels in SoBe overcharge because of their proximity to the scene and stylish vibe, you will feel that the hotel respects your trust of them with your getaway investment. My wife and I stayed at The Hotel for four nights and found that although the hotel and rooms were small, our affinity for the hotel grew the longer we stayed. People coming to SoBe are not planning on spending huge amounts of time on the hotel grounds, but they do want to feel like they are getting value and reliable professionalism. I would reccomend this hotel for those not ready to stomach the risk of running into a poorly managed staff and venue."
