"I notified the hotel that we would be a late arrival. We arrived at 10:30pm. Our room was ready, however, the family that traveled with me was told that their room was cancelled earlier that morning and there were no vacancies. My companions were traveling all day so it was impossible for them to have cancelled their room. At 10:45pm, the hotel was still waiting for 2 other families to arrive and could not confirm whether or not one of our rooms was confused with one of their rooms and cancelled by mistake. The hotel clerk gave us a business card for another hotel but could not give us directions or tell us if the other hotel had any vacancies. My companions ended up going to nearby Marriott to find a room. Hotel was located in a very noisy area with truck horns blaring and busy traffic all night long. Also, even though heating system was turned off, the heater made a loud hissing sound almost every hour. I would not stay in this hotel again."

"Hotel is very average rather poor on dollar paid. No AC, noisy, semiclean bathroom, no pool. Average location in a middle of town. Good communication. Hidden costs for car parking on hotel lot ($10/day)- very frustriting when you learn this at checkout time. Worst deal (via internet services!) I've got in my 2 weeks travel in California."
