"Since this hotel is located in Portofino, Italy, most of the answers to the questions don't fit the choices given. The town is not near an airport, over-priced with very trendy and expensive stores. However, the location is wonderful being far from the crowds. With that said, the hotel was in a good location with a beautiful view and within walking distance of the main square. The only complaint I have is that the bed felt as if I was sleeping on a wooden platform."

"The hotel is located about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Portofino (there is a special pedestrian path connecting the hotel to the centre of Portofino). The hotel is set beside the road into Portofino (but traffic noise is only minimal as the road is generally fairly quiet and the hotel windows are double glazed). The hotel has the advantage of being relatively close to Portofino but also has a beach directly across the road from the hotel. The best rooms are those on the upper floors with a sea view."
