Numerous guests praised the hotel's location, describing it as central and close to attractions, highway access, public transit, museums, downtown Jerusalem, restaurants, the Wester Wall and Machane Yehuda Market. One patron noted, "Very convenient to all locations in Jerusalem--uptown and downtown. Close to the light rail and walking to many destinations".
The hotel's food was the source of many compliments by reviewers. They described it as kosher, delicious, excellent, fresh, varied and tasty.
Several lodgers were pleased with their accommodations at the hotel. They found their rooms to be clean, well maintained, quiet and spacious, with great city views and comfortable beds and linens. Some travellers were disappointed with their lodgings, however (see below).
