Clean, well equipped. Only minor problems.

"The standard rooms are small, but clean and well equipped. The receptionists were kind and helpful, but doormen/bellboys still have to learn how to handle Western guests. They did their best, but were either too rigid and demanding regarding the hotel rules, or too aggressive to my standards (there is no need to enter into a fistfight with a taxi driver in front of the hotel entrance and all the guests just because the shameless driver wanted to take advantage of a foreigner!). My only complaint would be that after checking in around 3:30 PM, the rooms were not ready and we had to wait in the lobby for another 15 min, even though check in time is 2 PM. Nevertheless, I would return to same hotel while staying in Beijing."
