"The reason for negativity in the first set of questions is because the Jebel Ali is 1hrs drive from the airport. We were told at time of booking that there was a courtesy bus but none seemed to be available. We also got dropped off by courtesy bus on a day excursion to the Dubai centre but were left stranded as the return bus fail to show. The hotel did pay the taxi fare without question!
Once at the Jebel Ali there is little you would need to leave for unless you need or want to explore the city. The Dubai Explorer publication proved extremely valuable."
