The GoodThe majority of the reviews sourced for this analysis were positive, with compliments going to the hotel's location, staff and rooms.
Numerous patrons praised the hotel's location. They described it as safe, and close to restaurants, supermarkets, nightlife, shopping, downtown and the Nile.
Many guests were pleased with the level of customer service they received. They characterized the staff as friendly, helpful, efficient and accommodating.
The hotel's accommodations were enjoyed by several travellers. They described their lodgings as clean, spacious, well equipped and nicely decorated, with comfortable beds and beautiful views of the Nile. It should be noted, however, that some lodgers were disappointed with their rooms (see below).
The Bad
While the majority of reviews consulted for this analysis were positive, there were some complaints about noise transfer and the rooms.
Several lodgers complained of noise transfer during their stay. They reported all day and night traffic noise in rooms facing the road, recommending guests book rooms facing the Nile. Other noise disturbances included noisy air conditioning and the 5-am prayer call from a nearby mosque.
Although several reviewers were pleased with their clean and nicely decorated rooms, some guests criticized their accommodations. They reported very poor Wi-Fi connectivity, dated decor, worn furniture and described the rooms as dark and drab.
